Our Team

Donna Russell, MHA

CEO

Donna Russell is the founder and CEO of Precia Group. Precia Group was established in 2020 to facilitate equity in research by expanding the number of women in studies and bringing clinical trials to the community setting. The company is focused on facilitating and supporting women’s health across all life stages including reproductive health, pregnancy and menopause.

Prior to Precia Group, Ms. Russell worked in maternal health research, in the U.S. as a Director of Research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth (GAPPS) and globally, consulting with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other major funders and NGOs. She has extensive experience establishing biobanks to support pregnancy cohorts and research networks in the community-setting; and harmonizing collections across multiple networks to enable large-scale multi-omics studies focused on improving maternal and newborn health outcomes.

Ms. Russell also serves on the board of Valley Medical Center, a community hospital affiliated with the University of Washington and has a deep understanding of how to successfully integrate research into the clinical setting to ensure high-quality, diverse, and equitable studies.

Donna has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nutritional sciences from University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Master’s degree in health administration from the University of Washington.

Edie Stringfellow

SVP Global Health Strategy and Biomedical Commercialization

Edie Stringfellow brings two decades of experience in public policy, global health equity, ecosystem development, and clinical research to her role as SVP Global Health Strategy and Biomedical Commercialization at Precia Group. She is committed to establishing Precia Group as a front-runner in women’s health research and global health equity initiatives with the goal of positioning Precia Group as an essential hub for addressing clinical trial challenges in women’s health within the biopharma industry, both domestically and internationally.

Throughout her career, Edie has held notable positions such as Vice President of Ecosystem Development at the Center for Global Health Innovation; Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council; Strategic Executive Advisor at Biocom California; and Director of Patient Recruitment and Retention at ClinEdge. Leveraging her strategic expertise, Edie aims to cultivate new business avenues and foster global partnerships to drive the organization’s mission forward.

A strong advocate for inclusion, Edie co-founded the LS-VAN (Life Sciences Veterans Action Network) and affiliated WITH Boston Chapter (Women Innovating Together in Healthcare). Notably, she championed the “CEO Pledge to Racial Equity in BioPharma,” earning widespread endorsement from industry leaders. Edie’s impactful contributions to public policy advocacy have resulted in resolutions backed by esteemed organizations like the National Black Caucus of State Legislators.

Edie holds a BS in Communications from Illinois State University and an MS in International Relations and Healthcare from Boston College. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in collaborating on sports, film, music, and STEM-related theatrical productions. Her daughter, Cheyenne, a Pre-Med Neuroscience student at the University of Miami, aspires to become a neurotrauma researcher and screenwriter.

Samantha Udondem, MPH

Director of Clinical Operations

Samantha Udondem is a highly accomplished and value-oriented Director of Clinical Operations with over 20 years clinical research experience across both the United Kingdom and the United States. With a Master’s in Public Health from Kings College London and a background in project and program management, her expertise in spearheading multidisciplinary teams has been instrumental in pioneering advancements in critical therapeutic areas including women’s health, oncology, respiratory diseases, otolaryngology, and environmental health.

Samantha’s unwavering commitment to enhancing patient outcomes shines through her dedicated focus on marginalized communities. She has been pivotal in the successful delivery of Phase I-IV device and drug trials, leveraging her profound knowledge in Community-Based Participatory Research methodologies to bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility and efficacy.

Her professional experience extends across a wide spectrum of clinical operations, encompassing strategic site identification, activation, and management, underscored by a steadfast commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance. Samantha excels in fostering robust stakeholder relationships, ensuring seamless engagement and management, which has been key to her success in this field. Her proficiency also spans the intricate aspects of  fiscal responsibility, regulatory, and contract oversight, ensuring efficiency and integrity in every project she leads.

Samantha’s approach to clinical research is not just about meeting objectives but about setting new benchmarks in patient-centered care and innovation. Outside of her professional endeavors, Samantha enjoys baking, graphics design, and supporting local community-based organizations. She is passionate about providing cultural and educational learning opportunities for young people, fostering their growth and development in meaningful ways.

Amy Rush

Director of Data and Network Management

Amy Rush is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a strong background in public health and microbiology. Holding a Master of Public Health from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Arizona State University, Amy has consistently demonstrated her commitment to excellence and continuous learning throughout her academic and professional journey.

Amy currently serves as the Director of Data and Network Management at Precia Group. In this role, she excels in managing data from clinical research sites, developing customized electronic data capture systems, and leading training sessions on data integrity protocols. Her efforts have significantly contributed to expanding Precia Group’s global research network and enhancing its industry reputation.

Before joining Precia Group, Amy worked as an Embryologist and Executive Assistant to the COO at The World Egg Bank. Here, she specialized in egg freezing techniques, coordinated international shipments, maintained customized databases, manipulated large sets of data, and implemented new protocols and procedures. Her leadership in donor recruitment and marketing helped the team achieve consecutive monthly goals.

Amy’s earlier roles include a position as a Junior Embryologist at Fertility Treatment Center, where she performed specialized laboratory procedures to support couples struggling with infertility. Additionally, she served as a Clinical Conduct Associate at Celerion Inc., contributing to phase one clinical research projects and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data recording and entry.

Her professional journey began with an internship at the Biodesign Institute, where she conducted groundbreaking research on Drosophila (fruit flies) and Wolbachia bacteria, demonstrating her expertise in data management and research methodologies.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Amy enjoys crocheting, taking her distinguished show-cat Genghis to cat shows, and participating in musical theater. Amy is conversant in Spanish and has completed an Ironman 70.3-mile triathlon!
